Handmade in small batches

Each piece is made by hand in my small studio near Porto. From shaping the clay to glazing and firing, every step happens here in the studio.

Because of this slow process, pieces are created in small batches and no two are exactly the same.

All photos are taken by me in natural light, often in my garden or around the studio — close to the place where each piece is made.

Marks of the making process, variations in glaze, and the movement of the glaze during firing make each piece unique.

Because every piece is handmade, slight differences in shape, color, and glaze are part of the process and give handmade ceramics their character.

This is the beauty of handmade ceramics.

Unique by nature

Perfectly Imperfect

Sometimes small imperfections appear during the firing process — a glaze drip, a tiny mark, or a slightly uneven shape.

These pieces remain fully functional, and instead of letting them go to waste, they are available in the Perfectly Imperfect section of the shop.

Food safe & functional

Tableware pieces are glazed with food-safe, lead-free glazes and are suitable for everyday use.

Most pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe, though gentle handwashing is always recommended to help preserve the glaze over time.

They are made to be enjoyed — for coffee, tea, meals, and the small moments in between.
